Hello! :) My name is Maria and I am a freshman in college studying Pre-Med aaaanddd Human Biology (this might change). I'm a Muslim American who was born in Pakistan and I enjoy sharing bits and pieces of my life through this medium!
The name of this blog, SonrisaMaria, literally translates from Spanish as "Smile Maria" (according to Google Translate that is; I believe the true translation is a bit more grammatically incorrect). I like the rhyme flow of the two words along with the optimistic, happy meaning-- which is a really big part of who I am. :) In Urdu, this would be "MuskuratiMaria" which I might incorporate into this in the future.
